The LaRouche movement, led by the U.S. citizen Lyndon H. LaRouche, is a political movement which has covered the theme conspiracies in its books, periodicals and pamphlets/leaflets for decades. For instance, Lyndon LaRouche is reckognised as the first public person to claim that American authorities were involved in September 11 (1). The important issue is: can the movement be taken seriously? It turns out that the answer is no.

First, I find it useful to state that it is not Fampo's mission to criticise (or support) the political views of the laRouche movement (2). The point is to show that an organisation which claims to fight against an elite of power and sundry conspiracies, acts in a way that does not help to achieve such a goal. I have also sent an e-mail to the organisation, where I offer to publish comments it has to the content here. Read the e-mail here.

Then, I will turn the attention to som good articles from the LaRouche movement - articles and books with concrete information and a good (or at least partially good) use of sources. They are collected in the link under.

Interesting articles from the LaRouche movement

There are several reasons why I chose to link to positive contributions from the LaRouche movement. One thing is that htese articles are worth reading. Second, it is important to see that one organisation can both publish quite good articles and books, and still have an agenda that is not a serious fight against conspiracies. It will appear to advantage to avoid reading good documentation from a movement and getting a general confidence where this confidence has no real fundament. One should neither brush aside everything that comes from an organisation, even though it has its dubious sides. One possibility can be refering to good articles from the movement in contexts where that be useful, and use the opportunity to point to other properties of the organisation.

Then there is the darker properties of the LaRouche movement. Examples are collected in the link under.

What you should know about the LaRouche movement

One should also note that publications from the movement which contains interesting information, or seems to contain interesting information, may have weaknesses that it is important to know, at least if one considers using the material. Read more here.
